Calls For 'Official Investigation' Into Crisis At Hereford United

Calls have been made by Cllr Bob Matthews amidst others for an 'official investigation' into the crisis at Hereford United.

According to the Hereford Times, the investigation would be held to 'force answers' from former directors who include Cllr Nick Nenadich, a current Councillor. In essence the transfer of shares to new 'majority' shareholder Tommy Agombar is being called into question.

"It's increasingly apparent that they have a lot to answer for," said Cllr Matthews.

Cllr Matthews has also called for 'serious consideration' be given to having talks with HUST, the Hereford United Supporters Trust.

Parties working for HUST sent e-mails to Councillors this morning about the recent share issue and the articles of association of the club.

Update: At a shareholders general meeting held at Edgar Street on July 22nd 2013 two of the special resolutions were about the articles of association.

However these items were not even debated at the meeting.
