Alan Connell scored the only goal of the game as Dagenham beat Bromley 1-0 in their first pre-season friendly. The 31 year old was released by Northampton earlier in the summer and is on trial with the Daggers.
Lyle Taylor has signed a two year deal at Scunthorpe after signing from Sheff Utd for an undisclosed fee. The 24 year old scored only twice in 25 appearances for the Blades after a £220,000 move from Falkirk last summer, ending the season on loan at Partick.
