Kiddy Axe Thorn

Kidderminster have announced that manager Andy Thorn has left the club with immediate effect.

After being brought in to assure the Harriers a promotion spot, the former Coventry boss has won just two of his eight Conference games in charge, with the side slipping down to 10th in the table.

Assistant Craig Knight has also departed, with the pair lasting less than two months.

Update: Gary Whild, Steve Burr's assistant who remained in the club's coaching setup, has been named as manager until the end of the season.

"Gary knows the club, the players and the supporters," said Chairman Ken Rae.

"His record here, working with Steve, is very strong. I know how hard he has worked to bring players here who've been extremely successful."

News Round-Up

Aldershot have extended the loan of Luton midfielder Solomon Taiwo for a second month. The 28 year old made only three appearances in his first month due to postponements. Lincoln have extended the loan of Thierry Audel until the end of the season. The Crewe man has made six appearance so far for the Imps.

Forest Green have appealed to the Secretary of State over the refusal by the local council to free the club from an obligation to build a children's play area on land near their stadium. The obligation was part of the planning permission granted for the new ground but the club say the land, used currently as an overflow car park, would never receive planning permission for such an area anyway.

Gary Calder, the former Weymouth chief executive has been banned from football for eight years after being found guilty by the FA of providing insider information to a third party on the Terras for a match with Rushden in 2009. Calder is a former associate of George Rolls, who himself is currently serving a five year ban for betting offences. Calder has also been fined £2,500.

Torquay midfielder Joss Labadie has been charged by the FA after allegedly biting two Chesterfield players in a game last month. The 23 year old has until Thursday to enter a plea. Weston-Super-Mare have reversed their decision to sack manager Craig Laird, and he has signed a new two year deal to stay on with the club.

Conf North side Histon have called a meeting of shareholders, with the club's finances again struggling after a series of postponements. Chairman Russell Hands has not ruled out Administration with the club starved of cash.

Conf North Side To Quit Due To Finances

Conf North side Vauxhall Motors are to resign from the league at the end of the season due to their finances.

The 50 year old Ellesmere Port side will continue to run a series of junior sides, but will disband their senior team in April with the club currently 11 points clear of the relegation zone.

Chairman Alan Bartlam, in a club statement, said: “Vauxhall Motors, like many other football clubs, are confronted with the reality of low gates and ever-increasing costs. This now unsustainable position has been going on for several years despite the tremendous efforts of a dedicated and active committee to try and balance the books.

“It is anticipated this season will result in another sizable financial loss eating into a legacy of finances that we were fortunate to inherit over a decade ago. And to do nothing would be foolhardy.

“As a responsible committee administering a club that was founded over fifty years ago and a club that we would wish to continue for another fifty, with responsibilities beyond the Football Conference, to some thirty teams, youth, junior and ladies catering for over 400 children within Ellesmere Port and beyond, it has become necessary to withdraw the senior side from the established pyramid.

“We have enjoyed nineteen fabulous seasons in that pyramid but now we must restructure, stabilise and rebuild again.”

DLW Earns England C Cap In Jordan Win

Bulls keeper Daniel Lloyd-Weston was a second half sub as the England C team beat Jordan's u23 side 1-0 this afternoon.

Lloyd-Weston was a 73rd minute sub for Wrexham's Andy Coughlin and saw out the game with the England side already leading through Cambridge's Luke Berry.

Plastic Set To Be Fantastic For FA

The FA are set to approve the use of plastic pitches in the FA Cup proper rounds, paving the way for their widespread use across football.

A report in today's Daily Express says a 12 man committee at the FA voted unanimously to allow plastic surfaces in the FA Cup up to the Semi-Final, where they had previously been banned after the Fourth Qualifying Round.

The paper reports that the news should avert Maidstone's threatened legal fight with the Conference over being allowed promotion with their 3G surface. The £340,000 surface is said to have paid for itself in a year with rental income and the use by a 65 player Academy, with the paper commenting:

'Maidstone’s success, one Conference board member revealed, was the reason that they were reluctant to give the Stones a green light without stronger leadership from the higher echelons of the game.

It was not because they feared the Kent club would be the exception, but more the concern that dozens more would follow suit.'

England C Game This Afternoon

The England C team are in action this afternoon.

Their game against Jordan's Under 23 team kicks off at 3pm.

Hereford United keeper Dan Lloyd-Weston is in the English squad.

England C starting XI v Jordan U23: Coughlin; MacDonald, Franks, Holland, Demetriou; Marsh-Brown, Payne, Berry, Frear; Norwood, Gray.

Subs: Lloyd-Weston, Fitchett, Gallagher, Turley, Pearson.

Manager Paul Fairclough has told reporters that every sub will be used during the game.

Eurocams Help Bulls

BN understands that Eurocams helped Hereford United stave off the recent winding up order.

Eurocams currently sponsor the Dug-outs at Edgar Street.

The chairman of Eurocams, Graham Masarik, is a good friend of director Colin Addison.

It's thought the company may have made an advance payment for next season's sponsorship of the dug-outs.

News Round-Up

Wrexham Chief Executive Don Bircham says the club will not approach a manager currently in a job with another club to be their manager. Colwyn Bay boss Frank Sinclair was the bookies' favourite before the weekend, with caretaker Billy Barr now topping the list. The club's board met last night to begin cutting over 100 candidates down to a 15 man shortlist.

Former Bull Tony Capaldi has dropped two divisions to join Unibond Premier strugglers Barwell after his release from Tamworth. The former Northern Ireland international debuted in the Canaries' loss to Frickley at the weekend. Northwich Victoria owner Jim Rushe is facing a bankruptcy petition in the High Court. The NPL side are now playing at Flixton with much of their fanbase now supporting a new 1874 Northwich side they set up following a long dispute with Rushe.

Halifax's Supporters Trust has published an independent report it commissioned into the future of the club's The Shay stadium. They initiated the report after a third party made a bid for the Council-owned stadium, with the report recommending a community-ownership structure for the stadium with the Council seemingly open to selling the site on the back of local government funding cuts.

Corby Town are on the verge of Administration after the local Council cut funding on a £90,000 a year deal for the club to run a nearby community sports facility. The Steelmen now say they will take the Council to court with funding cut by over £400,000 up to the end of the deal in 2018. Welling have released forward Loick Pires by mutual consent. The summer signing started only six games, last featuring three months ago.

Conf South promotion chasers Weston-Super-Mare have sacked manager Craig Laird after he stalled signing a new deal and asked for his playing budget to be increased by £42,000.

Speculation At The Street

Quite a lot of speculation around Edgar Street today, some of which has suggested that chairman David Keyte is in talks to sell his share in Hereford United.

The speculation appears to be based on several strands of information.

Firstly the delay in holding the AGM.

Secondly the promise by Keyte that all player contracts would be honoured.

And thirdly a stop on work on changes to the ACV for a fortnight.

Originally the delay in holding the AGM was thought to be because the letters to shareholders had been sent a couple of days too late, but there's speculation today that the real reason is that Keyte is in talks with someone who might purchase his 'loan' and shares. And Keyte wanted to delay the AGM until discussions were finalised.

The promise, made by Keyte last Thursday, that all players contracts would be paid in full suggests that the finances at the club aren't quite as desperate as has recently been stated, or someone is going to put some money in.

The stop on changes to the ACV work happened over a week ago. That may be because director Bob Pritchard is currently said to be on a cruise, however one thought is that it could be tied with Keyte selling up.

So who, if anyone, is Keyte talking to?

A few obvious names have been put forward. Former chairman Graham Turner is one. However given he sold a 30% share in the club for around £20 per share, it seems unlikely he would want to come back given the level of debt unless Keyte sells up for next to nothing.

Former director Mike Roberts is another. Roberts purchased Tim Russon's shares and was the second largest shareholders in the club before the recent share issue was launched.

Another name is that of Jed McCrory formerly chairman of Swindon and before that 'owner' of Banbury Town. 43 year old McCrory recently tried to buy into Kidderminster Town but failed.

McCrory was chairman of Swindon Town until he sold his stake to Lee Power. The Evesham based businessman led a consortium, Seebeck 87, which purchased 99% of Swindon from BetFair co-founder Andrew Black just over twelve months ago. However Power bought some of McCrory's shares last April and the remainder in December.

Whilst buying Swindon, McCrory was also talking to Cheltenham according to the Bath Chronicle.

"We did have an approach from the consortium who are now at Swindon, but we weren't convinced and you have to be very careful. You have to be very thorough with your due diligence and the fact they wanted to become the controlling stake holders was a problem," said chairman Paul Baker.

Not long after McCrory met Kidderminster chairman, at the time, Mark Serrell. However, later, the board of directors at Aggborough turned down McCrory despite his claim to be have access to £5m of funds possibly from a company called iQuest Capital Ltd who are based in Cheshire.

"The board did meet with Jed and he put his proposal to us which we decided to decline," said Ken Rae the new Kidderminster chairman.

McCrory has also looked at a takeover of Barnsley.

In late January it was suggested by the Barnsley Chronicle that a deal to buy the club for £5M could be 'just days away'. But it didn't happen.

Owner Patrick Cryne later said he would only sell to someone who he believed would build the club in the future.

In truth as yet nobody other than one or two close to Hereford United will know if anything is going on, therefore, just to repeat, this article is pure speculation and should be treated as such.

Unless you, dear reader, know differently.

News Round-Up

Lincoln defender Tom Miller has picked up a two match ban after collecting his tenth yellow card of the season in their win at Aldershot on Saturday. Stockport have placed public adverts asking for applicants to be their next Chairman. The advert for the unpaid voluntary role says the Hatters have six full-time staff, 22 players, and three coaches on the payroll as well as a string of part-time backroom staff and volunteers.

Torquay boss Chris Hargreaves has offered to buy 91 fans a pint at a Q&A at the club this week. The 91 made the trek to Hartlepool to see them lose on Saturday, with Hargreaves already reported to have handed two a £20 note to buy a drink on the way home. Hargreaves has put out a call for circus performers to create a 'FA Cup final atmosphere' at Saturday's home game with Fleetwood.

Alfreton midfielder Alastair Taylor has been banned for three games for a sending off during his loan spell at Buxton. The 22 year old's suspension will take 10 days to kick in as it was collected in a lower league. Halifax are to extend the loan of defender James Bolton for a second month. The Macclesfield man has started all three games the Shaymen have played during his first month.

Braintree To Field Youngsters

Braintree boss Alan Devonshire says the club's schedule of 11 games in 24 days wouldn't happen to the bigger sides in the division as the Conference wouldn't allow it.

The Iron face the Bulls on Saturday in the first of the 11 matches, with Devonshire saying he will have no choice but to field weakened sides in some games to give players a break:

“How can they ask us to play Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday three weeks on the trot? I’m sure if it was Luton or Grimsby I don’t think it would be happening.

“We have got a free week this week and no one wants to play us. Shouldn’t they make someone play us? All those who don’t have a game, which there are plenty.

“At the end of the day I cannot put my first team out for some of these games, it’s impossible. As long as the league knows that I am going to have to put the youth team out for one or two games.

“So I am sorry to all the teams out there for relegation or playoffs going up but I have got to look after my players and there are times where I will have to play a weakened side.

“I will have to pick the games where I want to attack and the games that I have to play a weakened side. I can’t do anything else; I have got 16 or 17 players.”

Quiz Night Wednesday

News Round-Up

Ex-Bull Lewis Young has signed for Bury until the end of the season after leaving Aldershot in January. The 24 year old debuted as a late sub in their loss to Cheltenham yesterday. Aldershot have signed goalkeeper Alan Martin on a short term deal. The 25 year old left Crewe in January after nine appearances in the first half of the season, and debuted in the Shots' home loss to Lincoln yesterday.

Tamworth have signed Cambridge striker Matthew Barnes-Homer and Hull defender Will Aimson on month long loan deals. Barnes-Homer only joined the U's in January on a deal to the end of the season, making five appearances. Youngster Aimson is yet to debut for the Tigers but has captained their u21 side.

Forest Green have signed veteran forward Luke Rodgers on a short term deal. The 32 year old has been playing in Sweden since leaving Shrewsbury 12 months ago. The Gumpers have also handed James Norwood a contract for next season, and allowed midfielder Kieron Forbes to join Conf South side Whitehawk until the end of the season. The 23 year old made only eight appearances this term.

Hall Reflects On Matters At Edgar Street

Keith Hall has been following the Bulls for a long time and will have seen some highs and some lows at Edgar Street.

Yesterday after the end of the game, Hall, who had commentated on the game for BBC Hereford and Worcester, discussed the present situation with Trevor Owens.

After Owens had read out a selection of texts (some reprinted in a BN article yesterday), he asked Hall for his thoughts.

"I've not seen it for a while, but there were some people with 24 minutes to go who started to leave. Firstly a trickle then more and more.

"Hereford supporters must have thought we are not going to score, we are not going to get back into this match, I might as well go now. That's a very sad state of affairs.

"It's lack of a strike force really, they just never look like scoring. I know Chris Sharp was upfront on his own. If Rob Purdie was trying to play in the hole behind Sharp, he got precious little service and hardly touched the ball in the first half.

"Danny Leadbitter showed up well down the right wing, he is a threat as he takes people on and young Cory Williams when he came on did likewise.

"Frankie Artus is well below the level he was in January. Kingsley James has come back in after a lengthy lay-off.

"I'm not trying to make excuses for the players, I think some of the players are decent at this level. We were talking about the Hereford defence being one of the best in the division before the turn of the year.

"It's not necessarily the backline, it's further forward. If you are playing five effectively in midfield and you are not getting the grip, (Wrexhams) Dean Keates and Joe Clark dominated in there, we just didn't get at them, full stop."

Owens then repeated Martin Foyle's statement that he only has nine fit players for Braintree next Saturday.

"I think he's looking at the first team. not the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Cory Williams, he's looking at his genuine squad players he brought in.

"We obviously lost Rhys Evans due to that injury with Daniel Lloyd Weston in. That's why he's concerned over the England 'C' match in the week that Lloyd Weston comes back fit or we won't have a goalkeeper for next weekend.

"I think some of the players really do they want to be here anymore. That's something I shouldn't have to say. Spectators are here, they've seen it, they know what it's like.

"Where is the direction as well, what are we doing as a football club?"

Owens then asked Hall about the latest statement from the chairman about his meeting with the players last Thursday. (http://bullsnews.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/keyte-has-talks-with-management-and.htm )

In particular Owens mentioned the chairman's pledge that 'contracts would be met in full'

"I'm just struggling to think where this money has come from to be able to do that. That's why the players are worried, that's why the players want it in the public domain.

"Potential investors etc who want to come in, they are going to look at those things not just as positive spin that the chairman has put on it.

"We question where that money is going to come from. If he is going to honour the committments, is he honouring them himself, is that further loans, will those loans be converted into further shares, does that mean that the Chairman has an even firmer grip on the control of this football club.

"There are more questions coming out as a result of that statement.

"If those players were paid up, they knew they were paid up by whatever means I'm not sure, I think things would be different. And that is a concern.

"We've got players, I'm not going to start finger-pointing, but there are questions.

"Are players actually injured, are players genuinely ill?"

Rod McDonald didn't play yesterday and Martin Foyle didn't seem sure why suggested Owens.

"He's just the man in the firing line at the moment. I know people will say those are the players you brought in you make them work. But if they are totally and absolutely fragile, their confidence is absolutely shot and they are not bring paid at the end of the day then I feel for some of those players.

"But I would like to see them giving full committment when they are on as professionals.

"If they want a club next year, they want a contract somewhere next season then they should be showing more than they are at the moment."

Your Team Was Soulless Said Wrexham Fan

BBC Hereford and Worcester had plenty of coment from Hereford supporters about how poor the performance was this afternoon.

But a text from a Wrexham supporters called Rich probably summed it up.

'As a Wrexham fan I've got to say I thought you're team was soulless.'

As for Hereford fans here a few of their comments:

'Pathetic today and the club is a circus' - Jon Hales.

'I can't believe how spineless the Bulls were today, no fight, passion nothing' - Nick from the Stourport Whites.

'I'm sorry to say the future is dire' - Tewkesbury Bulls.

'I hate to say it but relegation is becomimg a closer prospect' - The Fat Bull.

'The crowd was very unhappy at the end' - Paul.

'Rankine was sorely missed' - Adrian in Leominster.

Results Round-Up

The Bulls' gap to the bottom four is six points after today's results, with the bottom four all losing. Hyde went down 2-1 at Braintree, and Tamworth lost 2-0 at Halifax. Dartford lost 3-0 to Southport, who lifted themselves a place above Chester, who drew 3-3 with Nuneaton. Aldershot lost 3-2 at home to Lincoln to have a three point gap to 20th place Chester.

At the top, Luton's 3-0 win over Alfreton was their 13th straight home win. That kept them 14 points clear with Cambridge demolishing Kidderminster 5-1 to leave the Harriers in tenth place with a zero goal difference. Barnet are third despite losing 3-1 at home to Woking, with Alfreton fourth and Nuneaton fifth. Salisbury are a point behind in sixth after a 2-0 loss at Grimsby, who move up to seventh. Gateshead are eighth after a 1-1 draw with Forest Green, while Welling beat Macclesfield 1-0 to move back above the Silkmen in mid-table.

At the foot of League Two, Torquay are seven points from safety after a 3-0 loss at Hartlepool. Northampton are four short after a goalless draw with Bristol Rovers, with the bottom two chasing a pack of clubs that have just six points separating 22nd and 10th in the table.

These Supporters Enjoyed Their Afternoon At Edgar Street

It wasn't all gloom and doom at Edgar Street this afternoon.

These youngsters had a great time at a birthday party held at the club.

Battered Bulls Slayed by Dragons

Following mid-weeks 2-1 loss to Macclesfield, Manager Martin Foyle changed the starting XI and formation ahead of today’s St. David’s Day clash with Wrexham. Kingsley James and Chris Bush replaced Sam Smith and Rod McDonald respectively. United started in a formation which saw utility player Rob Purdie play just behind striker Chris Sharp.

Rob Purdie Played Behind Striker Chris Sharp In The First Half
The first half started fairly positive for the Bulls, with some good movement in the danger area. A quick one-two manoeuvre between Sharp and Purdie, saw the ball played too far ahead of onrushing Brown.

After just 10 minutes of play, Hereford found themselves on the back foot. Johnny Hunt latched onto a cross from midfielder Joe Clarke, and pumped the ball into the top right of Rhys Evans’ net.

Wrexham Are In Front After Ten Minutes
Chris Sharp had a goal ruled-out for offside, just 4 minutes later. A cross from Leadbitter to James in the box was quickly laid off to Sharp, whose neat tap into the net was deemed offside by referee Martin.

Dean Keates won a free kick for Wrexham, which saw Evans rise up above the crowded penalty area, to catch Neil Ashton’s free kick. Hereford’s stopper fell nastily onto his shoulder, and the injury was visible throughout the rest of the first period.

A series of long throws and crosses were delivered into Wrexham’s box, but the Dragons’ defence dealt with these all too easily.

A chance for the Bulls came of the half hour mark, when Artus took his free kick short to Bush, whose powerful shot was deflected out for a corner, after making it over the 4 man wall. Dom Collins then headed the flag kick over the cross bar.

Rhys Evans pulled off a fantastic save at the back post, when he palmed Mark Carrington’s right-footed shot around the upright for a fruitless corner.

Wrexham doubled their advantage minutes from half time, when a ball from Carrington found Ogleby’s left foot and he side footed the ball into the corner of the Bulls’ net.

Wrexham Double Their Lead
HT: Hereford 0 – Wrexham 2

With starting keeper Rhys Evans pulling a shoulder muscle, he was replaced by Daniel Lloyd-Weston at half time.

Dan Lloyd Weston About To Take Over As Keeper
Dan Walker received the ball on the right and should’ve offloaded the ball to Brown, but instead carried the ball into the centre and had a off-balance shot that went well wide.

Wrexham seemed content with their 2 goal lead, and United failed to register a shot on target until the 87th minute, when Dom Collins forced Coughlin to make a save, after he headed Kingsley James’ cross goal bound.

Sam Smith replaced Chris Sharp amongst a chorus of boos and discontent from Hereford fans, midway through the second half. Youth Teamer Cory Williams also made an appearance but neither substitution had any real impact, although at least the young Williams does provide greater movement up front although with no service he or any other striker would struggle to shine.

Cory Williams Keeps Dean Keates Off the Ball
Leadbitter moved to play on the right of midfield and Purdie dropped back into a defensive position. Leadbitter’s occasional runs forward into Wrexham’s half, did prove problematic for defence, but they dealt with him every time. Williams did give Wrexham’s back four something to think about, but again, nothing to trouble keeper Coughlin.

Dom Collins Gets His Head On The Ball
Hereford and Wrexham both had chances to score, but the Bulls’ lack of quality in the final third meant the game ended 2-0.

FT: Hereford 0 – Wrexham 2
Att: 1,884 with 344 from abroad
Sponsors’ MOTM: Daniel Leadbitter

Hereford: Evans (Lloyd-Weston 46’), Leadbitter, Bush, James, Graham, Purdie, Walker, Sharp (Smith 67’), Collins, Artus, Brown (Williams 78’). Subs not used: Edge, Bowen.
Wrexham: Coughlin, Wright, Livesey, Tomassen, Ashton; Carrington, Keates, Clarke; Anyinsah, Bishop, Hunt. Subs not used: Mayebi, Clowes, Evans, Ogleby, Bailey-Jones.

After a fifth successive defeat, a relegation battle now appears to be looming. Perhaps some of the players need to take a long, hard look at their performances of late, because even if they don’t want to play for Hereford United, surely they will want to impress future employers.

And on a slightly brighter note, good luck to Daniel Lloyd-Weston for his England C game in Jordan next week.

Lads Deserved Victory Said Wrexham Manager

Former Hereford United And Wrexham Striker Dixie McNeil Watched The Game
Billy Barr who is currently in charge of Wrexham felt his side deserved their 2-0 victory over Hereford United this afternoon.

"It means everything because it's the end of four or five hard days that we've had since the Luton defeat and the lads deserve it.

"They've worked so well Thursday and Friday. I thought in the first half we were absolutely magnificent and their keeper's made some good saves.

"Second half was just a solid, professional performance. [We] gave nothing away and we thoroughly deserved the win."

Nine Fit Players For Next Week Said Foyle

Martin Foyle And Andy Porter Leaving Their Dug-Out At The End Of This Afternoon's Defeat By Wrexham
Another defeat and another crop of injuries for Hereford United this afternoon has caused more problems for manager Martin Foyle.

So it wasn't an easy interview for Foyle to give to BBC Hereford and Worcester's Keith Hall after this afternoon's game.

Hall's first question was what has happened in the last five weeks.

"A lot of things, but I've got to concentrate on the football," said Foyle in a apparant reference to not being allowed to talk about other matters after directions from chairman David Keyte.

"Not the best of starts we wanted, although I thought we started quite well.

"One cross, back of the net and then the confidence seemed to drain out of players.

"Obviously a lot of them haven't played much football and don't know how to handle it.

"All we can do is encourage it and work with the nine fit players we've got for next week. There's two with bad injuries. So we go to Braintree with exactly what we've got."

Rob Purdie was given a role behind striker Chris Sharp this afternoon.

"It was giving him a free role as I'm trying to find a role for him.

"But the times the ball has got to them, we kept giving it away.

"To be honest the final third has been lacking, that's our problem."

Danny Leadbitter was moved forward in the second half, when Purdie moved to right back.

"It did help, we did look a bit better but until we hit the back of the net and a little ruthless in the tackle - there was quite a few pulling out of tackles today, dangling their leg and everything like that.

"I find that quite hard to take."

Foyle then spoke about Sam Smith who came on as a sub today.

"When Smithy came on, they are all booing which I think is totally unacceptable because they need some encouragment.

"It's a difficult time for everything and everybody around this club.

"They can vent it at me, because I'm picking up all the pieces and all the rubbish as usual.

"I'm here to help and encourage what we have got."

Rhys Evans started in goal but was subbed at half-time after an injury.

"He's done a muscle in his arm, then Weston is going with England C and Jamie Edge has got to play for Hartbury college on Wednesday.

"Rob McDonald was ill last night and this morning so the decision was not to play.

"I wish I had a few more Luke Grahams and Don Collins"

The Bulls took 87 minutes to register a shot on target as they lost 2-0 to Wrexham.

Two first half goals threatened an avalanche in the second half but the Dragons were happy to retain possession and carry the three points home.

Nitelite Success

Nitelite, Steve Niblett and Paul Stevens, completed their current run of gigs with the Sex Pistols Experience and Ed Tudor-Pole last night.

The duo have put on nights that have raised a five-figure sum for the club over the past year.

Ed Tudor-Pole opened the night with an electro-acoustic set that spent part of it without the electro as he stood in the middle of the crowd leading a sing-a-long.

A packed crowd enjoyed the night. Pics by Steve Niblett.
