New league for youth team

Hereford United's youth team will play in a different region following the restructuring of the Football League Youth Alliance for 2005-06.

The end of season merit division has been discontinued and there will be a new League Cup competition.

The young Bulls will compete in the South West Conference which has been expanded by three clubs and comprises :

A.F.C. Bournemouth
Bristol Rovers
Cheltenham Town
Cirencester (new)
Exeter City
Hereford United (new)
Newport County
Oxford United (new)
Plymouth Argyle
Swansea City
Swindon Town
Yeovil Town

Each will play the others home and away, giving twenty-two fixtures.
