John Trewick, the Hereford United coach, has told the Worcester News that the Bulls have taken some good scalps in recent years.
"This year and last year, we've taken some good scalps. We've shown on many occasions that we can match sides from League One and Two. We are capable of playing to their level," said Trewick.
"It is not as if we are catching these sides on bad days. We have beaten several teams playing good football.
"Sometimes, I think teams from the Football League don't play their absolute strongest side, but they are still strong.
"Scunthorpe had just got promoted last year and did not bring their full complement. We got through then and we are looking positively for a win again.
"I expect they will play a very strong side, similar to that which beat Halifax. They know they are only three matches away from a final at Cardiff.
"That's a long way off for us at the moment. Like anybody else, we would like to get to a final, but it's too early to talk about it."
Trewick commented about the seven goal spree last Saturday.
"Whenever you play well and score goals, it does lift confidence and morale. The secret is to keep building on it and we must try and continue that form against Scunthorpe tonight."
