Supporters await signings

Graham Turner realises that supporters are desparate for news of new signings. This morning he has spoken to Trevor Owens, sports editor of BBC Hereford and Worcester, about progress.

"We're having a look at one or two more players; they're training with us.

"We'll decide what to do with them over the next few days, but there will be one or two in before very much longer."

Turner also spoke about team selection for the first League game at Stockport.

"They want to stake a claim for a first team place, get themselves fully match fit and sharp.

"From my point of view, it's about throwing down the gauntlet to the players and saying: "I'm not sure what the side's going to be for the opening day of the season; it's up to you to make sure you get a place.""

Meanwhile it is now confirmed that Michael McIndoe has joined Barnsley from Doncaster. Yeovil will stand to gain some of the transfer fee as they had a sell-on clause put in the contract when the player joined Doncaster.
