Former Hereford United favourite Paul Parry appears to be getting his career back on track after missing much of last season with injury problems.
Yesterday he played the full ninety minutes for Cardiff City in their 1-0 win over Coventry, who come to Edgar Street in nine days time for a Carling Cup game.
Parry, who was linked to Yeovil during pre-season, has been talking to Wales On Sunday.
"I need to get back to where I was when I first came to the club, which was on top of my game and taking people on," said the 25-year-old.
"I had a great start when I arrived and got the Wales thing going but I've got to start all over again now.
"It was a big jump from Hereford to Cardiff but I took it in my stride even though I don't think a lot of people expected me to be able to do it.
"Now I have to prove myself all over again although I believe in my ability to prove people wrong, as I've already shown.
"To do that I have got to get my club football right first and then, with a bit of luck, build on that to get back in with Wales. That will only come though if I'm playing regularly with Cardiff.
"During the summer I was reading that I was being tipped to be on my out of the club. I won't accept that though. The competition is a good incentive and the manager has never said to me that he was going to let me go.
"I've not had a bad pre-season and I'm starting to pull myself back together again.
"I had four months out last season and it will take games now to get me where I want to be."
