Today's 'friendly' match at St Georges Lane was abandoned after an alleged incident in the dressing rooms.
A second minute tackle by Mark Creighton which broke Adam Webster's ankle is believed to have been the catalyst at the centre of the storm, but it took more than an hour for events to come to a head shortly after Creighton had been substituted.
It is believed Creighton was followed into the dressing room by a member of Worcester City's backroom staff and allegedy assaulted. Kiddy manager Mark Yates quickly ordered his players off the pitch with 20 minutes left and the game was abandoned.
A statement on the official Kidderminster site reads: "Both clubs are holding their own internal enquiries into the incident which led to Saturday's game being abandoned. No further comment will be made by either Club until such time as the investigations are completed.
"Both Clubs are working together to resolve the matter and we would emphasise that the cordiality that exists between both Clubs will not be affected by today's events."
