The League Paper carries several quotes from Graham Turner after yesterday's game.
"We had a bit of a battering from Stockport's set pieces over the ninety minutes," said the Hereford United manager.
"And had a bit of luck but we also lacked a bit of composure on the break.
"We created and missed three or four great chances on the break, but that composure will come.
"We've got to pick up a bit on our quality, but that was a magnificent start for us.
"We've picked up a few injuries on the way and Wayne Brown looks like being out for a while, but I'm pleased with the result."
Meanwhile a figure of 1131 for the number of Hereford fans attending yesterday's game has been released by Stockport County.
