Boston boss Steve Evans has denied that he is on the verge of moving to Darlington to replace suspended boss David Hodgson.
Hodgson, who was suspended on Friday night, is believed to be on the verge of becoming Bournemouth's new manager after a string of run-ins with Chief Executive Jon Sotnick - who himself left Boston for Darlington in July.
Evans, who has bemoaned his lack of finances at the club second bottom of League Two, has already sold striker Julian Joachim to Darlo and would be eager to have the opportunity to work with one of the biggest budgets in the division, but told Radio Lincolnshire on Friday: "I told the fans a few weeks ago that I wasn't going to Darlington and nothing has changed since that time."
