Boston United have confirmed that they will complete the season after the prospective owners, an un-named Leeds based consortium, provided funding to cover losses until May.
The club has had to sell a string of players to cover the wage bill at York Street and is running losses of around £5,000 a week. Chairman Jim Rodwell told the local press:
"We may be in a position to reveal their identity in the next couple of weeks. Things are looking rosier, but I wouldn't say I'm relaxed about things - you never know what is around the corner. This investment will allow us to complete the season and to focus on footballing matters, like staying in the Football League. That is absolutely crucial to the club, but I believe we will do it."
