Wrexham manager Brian Carey has reacted to his teams 2-0 defeat by Hereford United by saying that Wrexham were 'ineffective' this afternoon.
"I am bitterly disappointed. We looked very ineffective today, and went down with a whimper to be honest.
"I thought Hereford came and frustrated us early on, but we didn't ask them enough questions whatsoever. We started well and did have some chances to take but we didn't take them. The longer it went on the more they grew into the game, and as they got more confident they got the goal.
"The League table (Wrexham are 23rd) isn't going to look pretty at the moment, but we'll look at that at the end of the season
"The fans are entitled to their opinion and I probably would have booed myself if I had been in the crowd! The people who pay their money expect to be entertained and that is right, it is what we are here for and I totally understand their reaction."
