Graham Turner has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that had it not been for an injury new on-loan signing Stephen Gleeson, pictured, would have joined the Bulls sooner. He had been due at Edgar Street before the game against Barnet at the end of January.
"The paperwork wasn't done quickly enough for Barnet so he played in their (Wolves) reserves and got injured on that night. So you can imagine the feeling immediately after we had lost to Barnet - a phone call from Mick McCarthy.
"Graham, sorry, the lad's got injured, Can't join you tomorrow.
"So we've waited a couple of weeks but we're pleased to have him in."
H&W reported that the loan was for an inital month 'although there's a chance it could be extended for the rest of the season.'
Turner also spoke about extending the loans of his front pair of Gary Hooper and Sherjill MacDonald.
"The vibes are quite good although I've not spoken to either West Brom or Southend yet.
"The players have indicated they would like to stay, and we would like to keep them until the end of the season."
