Jesse Norman speaks on Ground safety issue.

Responding to a request for his opinion, Jesse Norman, the prospective Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Hereford has made the following observation.

"As a regular reader of Bulls News I take a look at the forum once in a while and saw my name mentioned amongst others in the past 24 hours."

"For the record, I completely understand the frustration of GT and the fans alike. Last season was really disappointing in lots of ways, and the present issues over the Blackfriars End and the Len Weston have only made things worse. The last thing we need is to get tossed out of the Football League."

"It should not need saying that the club and the ground are absolutely integral parts of Hereford City and so must be included in any long-term redevelopment by the council and the ESG of the surrounding area."

"We do not have enough information on the situation. But there are several examples in the UK and around the world of clubs where public and private sector have come together in a way that benefits supporters, clubs and community alike, and without any misuse of public money."

"We need to look at those cases and employ that kind of thinking here. I myself would be happy to help in whatever way would make a difference and move the situation forward positively."

"Always happy to meet any Bulls fans for a beer in the Barrels! My email is jesse4hereford@gmail.com if anyone wants to get in touch."
