Stephen Rushton is set to take charge of next Saturday's FA Cup First Round tie between Hereford United and Sutton United.
Ruston, who hails from Staffordshire, has followed his father who was also a football league referee.
He has already officiated once at Edgar Street this season when Accrington were the visitors. The Bulls won the game 2-0 and Rushton didn't book any of the home side's players.
To date this season, Rushton has had eight games in which he has dealt out 16 yellow cards.
Meanwhile Hereford United have revealed that loan player Mark Marshall has not been given permission by Swindon Town to play in next Saturday's game. All the other loan players can play if selected.
