Southend are facing a player exodus after the again failed to pay the players on time. Keeper Steve Mildenhall is reported to have now submitted a transfer request while the local press reports that five others are considering their futures after they were given no warning their wages would not arrive on time. The club remains under a transfer embargo due to owing the PFA for a loan to cover wages earlier in the season.
Macclesfield want a new stadium as part of a long term redevelopment of the town. The local council has already announced a major redevelopment plan and the club want to be part of it, saying they are constrained by their current Moss Rose site. Lincoln's new chairman Bob Dorrian has told players to 'stop living in the past' over the wage demands for the club's transfer targets, warning them they will not get their demands in League Two.
Gillingham have confirmed they have signed striker Dennis Oli to a new two year deal. He is their 17th contracted player for next season. Accrington have missed out on goalkeeper Kenny Arthur after he opted to join Grimsby instead. Lincoln have lost the services of keeper Rob Burch after he signed a two year deal with Notts County.
