Conf South side Dover have put manager Nicky Forster on 'gardening leave' with 18 months of his contract remaining, and appointed Chris Kinnear as their new manager. Kinnear, most recently of Margate, cut his teeth in management with Dover more than 20 years ago. Cheltenham chairman Paul Baker has denied fan claims that he lacks ambition for the team. Baker has defended the club's January transfer policy with gates down around 250 a match on budget.

Coventry MP Geoffrey Robinson faces losing £250,000 after it was revealed he was a guarantor on the club's lease agreement on the Ricoh Arena. He, and a second unnamed person, could be called upon to honour part of the £1.2million in unpaid rent. Lincoln are reported to be set to sign Walsall winger Jake Jones on loan for a month. The 19 year old has made sporadic first team appearances.
