Ian Harris has joined Hereford United as chief scout. However the post is part-time as manager Martin Foyle is trying to keep costs under control.
"I couldn't have asked for better than Ian," said Foyle.
"He's a good football person and he's got a lot of contacts in the South West. He did me a lot of favours last season in helping to identify players, and he's done well again so far this season."
It's also been reported by the Official Site that Foyle has appointed Steve Jenkins to help youth coach Peter Beadle. Again this is a part-time position.
